Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
Monitor clients’ health status,



report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly
Engage in dementia care strategies and assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal goals

Qualifications
Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
Vulnerable Sector Check
First Aid/CPR Certification
Demonstrated experience working with seniors including dementia care
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members
Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent is preferred
