Responsibilities
Safely operate heavy-duty trucks for long-haul routes across regions, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
Manage city deliveries efficiently, including loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
Secure freight properly during transit to prevent damage or loss, utilizing appropriate tie-downs and safety protocols




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle performance and reduce downtime
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, especially long-haul trucking and city deliveries
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for secure transportation
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to support vehicle maintenance
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks
Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy machinery, and perform inspections as required
