Discovery's Kidd Operations is seeking Mine Engineering students for a 12-month co-op placement. Work within a technically demanding environment, developing key engineering designs for processes such as drilling and blasting while interactively learning about mine ventilation and design. Key Responsibilities:
• Create engineering designs using AutoCAD software
• Collaborate on projects involving ground control and ventilation
• Support scheduling and surveying engineering efforts
• Work across various engineering disciplines
• Engage in practical mine design and implementation
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Mining Engineering at a recognized institution
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably Amine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
• Solid interest in the mining sector
