POSITION PURPOSE To ensure that an adequate supply of clean linens are available for all departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Operation of the washing and drying machines

· Periodically deliver towels and linens to the floors.

· Responsible for the sorting of linen from the chute, according to size, colour and fabric.

· Separation of soiled or torn linen.

· To fold and press the linen and towels by adhering to company standards.

· To maintain a clean appearance of the laundry area, which includes sweeping and mopping.

· Counting of linen and maintaining accurate recordings.

· Clean out the dryer lint filter twice a day.

· Other duties as required.
