Join our energetic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the prospect to work outdoors, contribute to diverse landscaping projects, and develop valuable skills in horticulture, construction, and landscape maintenance.

Duties
Assist with the installation and maintenance of landscape features, including planting, mulching, laying sod and turf.
Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as trimming, edging, and digging
Support excavation activities using equipment like excavators under supervision to prepare sites for planting or construction
Implement irrigation systems, ensuring proper setup, testing, and ongoing maintenance for healthy landscapes
Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, weeding, and debris removal
Perform general site cleanup and ensure work areas meet safety standards at all times
Assist with construction projects such as building garden beds or installing features under guidance from senior team members.




Assist in maintaining the shop, equipment and vehicle.
Snow removal and shop maintenance allows for a year round position.

Skills
Experience with construction activities and familiarity with landscape installation processes
Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain tools and small machinery effectively
Proficiency in gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques
Ability to use hand tools (e.g., shovels, pruners) and power tools safely and accurately
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
