Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our pub. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming them, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced workplace.

Duties
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Manage the seating chart and coordinate reservations to optimize table turnover.
Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or restaurant services.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.




Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions about the restaurant.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.

Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is a plus.
Ability to multitask in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle calls professionally and courteously.
