Host/Host

Duties
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant/hotel
Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed
Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary

Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor




Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Basic knowledge of food service and hospitality industry practices
Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant/hotel as needed
