Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restaurant and food industry, with a solid focus on meal preparation and food safety. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and ensuring proper food handling techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working setting.

Skills




Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen setting.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
