Main Duties

Conduct routine maintenance on building, machinery, equipment and tools

Schedule regular cleaning, lubrication and safety checks

Maintain cleanliness of production areas, maintenance areas, walkways, and common workspaces

Diagnose problems and breakdowns on machinery, equipment and tools

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions

Adjust machinery, repair or replace defective parts

Analyse machine performance and determine solutions to improve

Move machinery

Dismantle, install and reassemble machinery

Operate hoisting and lifting devices in order to reposition machinery

Develop safety procedures for the operation machinery, equipment and tools

Implement lock out procedures for all machinery

Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiencies





Continuously improve the maintenance program and work towards improving machinery reliability and productivity

Maintain proper documentation on all maintenance activities

Work in a safe manner; follow all safety procedures and report unsafe situations

Skills

Mechanical and electrical knowledge

Efficient and attentive to details

Adept at carrying out instructions

Solid communication skills

Ability to interact and work well with others

Qualifications

Industry courses

Plant equipment courses

Maintenance training

Trade certifications

Forklift and scissor lift ticket is an asset

Work Schedule: Day shift (6 to 2 pm) Flexible

Experience

Industry experience maintaining Trumpf/Finnpower turret punch presses, Trumpf brake is an asset

Training will be available for the right candidate
