In this role, the Cook Helper will report to the Executive Chef and assist in various cleaning tasks throughout the culinary department. The responsibilities include washing dishes and pots while monitoring sanitation compliance. You will also support food preparation and manage supplies as needed to uphold our kitchen’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize kitchenware and tools
• Record dish machine temperatures regularly
• Use proper cleaning methods and chemicals
• Support chefs with preparation of ingredients
• Uncrate and organize supplier deliveries

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Food Secure Level 1 certificate necessary
• Must pass a vulnerable sector criminal record check
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Good health and free from communicable diseases
