Heavy Equipment Technician – Mobile Service Truck

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team working out of a mobile service truck in a mining environment.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys field work, troubleshooting, and working on a variety of large mining and heavy construction equipment.

Haul trucks
Dozers
Graders
Wiggle wagons
Other heavy mining and support equipment

Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a fully equipped mobile service truck
Perform field repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
Repair and maintain heavy mining equipment
Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently in the field
Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
Maintain tools, parts, and service truck inventory
Work safely around large mobile equipment and in an active mine workplace




Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel

Qualifications
Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred
Mining or heavy equipment experience required
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic skills
Experience working independently from a service truck
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field
Valid driver’s licence
Solid safety mindset and work ethic
Mine-site experience and required safety tickets are an asset

What We Offer $55–$70/hour depending on experience 14 days on / 14 days off

Rotating day and night shifts

Overtime paid after 10 hours per day or 44 hours per week
