Red Seal Carpenter — Full-Time

Camelot Homes is looking to expand our team!

We are a well-established custom home builder that has been serving the Parksville–Nanaimo area for over 40 years. Our team handles many aspects of construction in-house, including excavation, electrical, painting, cabinetmaking, and millwork.

The Position

We are hiring a full-time, fully ticketed Red Seal Carpenter with a minimum of 10 years of experience. The successful candidate will be a dependable, well-rounded carpenter who can work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.

Applicants should be proficient in framing, siding, and renovations. Experience lead hand with foundations and finishing carpentry is also an asset.

What We’re Looking For
Red Seal Carpenter certification
Minimum 10 years of carpentry experience
Strong framing, siding, and renovation skills
Experience with multiple stages of new construction and renovations




Foundation and finishing-carpentry experience considered an asset
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Transparent communication regarding job progress and potential issues
Willingness to follow procedures and adapt to changing job-site needs
Pride in your workmanship and a strong eye for detail
Personal hand tools and steel-toed boots
Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle
Ability to commute to job sites throughout the Parksville–Qualicum Beach area
