Position: Tactical Security Guard - Retail

Job Type: Full time, Permanent,

Hours: Various Shifts, must be available to work days/afternoons/nights/holidays/weekends

Pay Rate: $18.20/hr.

Special Minimum Requirements:
Valid Ontario Security License
Must be available for all shifts (days, afternoons, nights, holidays, weekends)
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, emails, typing )
First Aid/CPR Level C
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Must be able to work in a stressful environment
Police Foundations would be considered an asset

Duties:
Working closely with Mall Management
Full knowledge of 494, Trespass to Property, and Oxford Customer Service Excellence
Filing paperwork
Responsible for coaching and counselling guards
Ensuring guards are trained on key procedures (fire panel, power-outage, bomb threat, etc)
Review and respond to emails relating to Security or Security Supervisor
Adjusting schedules according to operational needs with scheduling software
Be aware of any procedures or site changes
Memo book checks
Review incident reports to ensure all is up to standard
Review and save important CCTV footage
Writing reports
Obtaining statements and collecting information for Incident Reports




Performing Customer Service-related functions
Experience with enforcing TPA and situations where Use of Force is required
Be physically capable of performing the required duties
Basic knowledge and use of integrated security systems
