Duties
Travel to clients’ locations to provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual needs
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
Perform various massage modalities including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques
Educate clients on pain management strategies, anatomy, physiology, and self-care practices
Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress and session notes
Ensure a protected,
hygienic setting by adhering to sanitation standards and using proper equipment
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and customize treatments accordingly
Requirements
Valid certification as a Registered Massage Therapist in Nova Scotia
Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and occupational health practices
Strong understanding of physiology and pain management techniques
Ability to travel independently within designated service areas and maintain flexible scheduling
