Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD Designer and Quality Control Technician to join our team in Engineering and Quality department.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in computer-aided design (CAD) and quality assurance within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will support design projects, assist with drafting, and ensure the quality standards of our products are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
Create and update 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
Prepare manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
Inspect finished parts against quality standards and blueprints.
Report defects and help fix production problems.
Work with the shop floor team to improve product design.

Required Qualifications
Diploma or degree in mechanical design, manufacturing,



or a related field.
Basic experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Positive eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to use basic measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.

Preferred Assets
Hands-on experience with VISI CAD software.
Background in tool and die design or mold making and machining is an asset
Previous experience in a quality control role and Cad design with Polyworks software and 3D Dimensional Scanning using Creaform (Go Scan)
