BRSI is a non‑profit, community‑based organization that provides residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Co‑ordinator of Program Services
This is a full‑time position.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Considerable knowledge of the principles of learning and behavior

Knowledge of ethical standards for the application of behavioral programs

Knowledge of a variety of functional and adaptive behavior and behavioral assessments

Knowledge of major trends and concepts within the field of intellectual disabilities

Experience and/or formal training in the design, application and supervision of developmental programs

Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills





Instructional and supervisory skills and decision‑making ability

Ability to work independently with individuals and with groups

Health‑care related experience would be an asset

Valid driver’s license

CPR & First Aid certification

A criminal record check with vulnerable sector is required

Education
Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (or other related discipline) with an emphasis in learning and behavioral psychology, or an equivalent combination of experience and formal training, including CLD Level II and III.
