We’re Hiring – Class 1 Driver (Tandem Truck) | Edmonton & Area
Blackline Civil Inc. is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to operate tandem trucks on civil construction projects throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.

This role supports earthworks, underground utilities, and site development projects, working closely with crews to keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate tandem trucks on job sites and haul routes

Transport materials such as soil, gravel, and aggregates

Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections





Work alongside crews, operators, and supervisors

Maintain clean and safe equipment

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 Driver’s License

Minimum 3 years of driving experience (civil or construction preferred)

Clean 3-year commercial driver’s abstract

Experience with manual transmissions (18-speed)

Comfortable working long hours and varying schedules

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Ability to work well within a team

Assets:

Experience operating tandem trucks in civil construction

Familiarity with Edmonton and surrounding areas

Off-road or site hauling experience

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and provide work-related references.
