Make your mark as a Lead Policy Advisor with Makivvik in Kuujjuaq, Montréal, or Quebec, focusing on strategic environmental initiatives. Your expertise will guide critical wildlife and resource development decisions. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will develop and advocate for policy positions related to climate change and biodiversity conservation.

This role requires at least five years of experience in senior policy analysis within Indigenous or governmental contexts. You should have proficient communication skills in English and French, with a solid grasp of comprehensive land claims agreements. Key Responsibilities:

- Recommend policies on climate change and resource development
- Develop management plans in line with community goals




- Represent Makivvik on important regional committees
- Oversee execution of projects focusing on Inuit interests
- Establish effective partnerships with key stakeholders Requirements:
- Master’s degree in political, social, or environmental science
- 5-7 years of policy analysis experience
- Effective communication in at least two languages
- Robust writing and analytical abilities
- Security clearance is mandatory Lead impactful environmental discussions and drive significant change as a Policy Advisor.
