As a Lead Technology Architect, you'll partner with business and technology leaders to define future-state architecture, drive AI adoption, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance client experiences and support long-term growth.

Working alongside Architects, DevOps Leads, and agile teams, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement, and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

Recommend emerging technologies and architecture solutions to support business strategy. Drive AI adoption across the Insurance IT team through SDLC use cases. Apply hands-on full-stack expertise to solve complex technology challenges.





Lead technology evaluations and define architectural principles and guidelines. Develop and maintain enterprise technology roadmaps with business and IT leaders. Partner with IT leaders to manage technology lifecycles and modernization initiatives.

Assess current architecture, identify risks, and recommend improvements. Hands-on experience integrating vendor platforms and managing technical vendor relationships. ~ Full-stack software engineering experience supporting end-to-end architecture across modern and legacy environments. ~ Hands-on experience implementing AI agents and models to improve SDLC productivity. ~ Experience building PWA, SPA, and responsive web applications using .NET/C#, Angular, React, and MS SQL Server. ~ Strong understanding of data modelling, integration layers, and communication orchestration solutions. ~10 years of combined relevant experience and an advanced university degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, information technology, or a related discipline.
