Step into a leadership role as a part time Nurse in Charge with Northern Chiefs in Deer Lake. Manage essential nursing services while enhancing community health initiatives. This position at the Deer Lake Nursing Station requires a dedicated Nurse in Charge to lead nursing care delivery.

You will address community health needs through a comprehensive approach that includes emergency care, preventive health, and public health education. Your leadership will guide both staff and community members toward effective health management. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead nurse-led programs for community health
- Focus on disease prevention and health promotion
- Mentor health team members for program success
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care for clients
- Engage with community leaders for health guidance Requirements:
- RN certification in valuable standing from Ontario
- At least 4 years of clinical experience
- Previous management experience in First Nations context
- Strong English skills for communication
