Ace Instruments Ltd. is currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our field services team on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation.

What You'll Do
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment including motors, generators, VFDs, lighting systems, contactors, and fire suppression systems
Respond to customer service calls and perform emergency repairs as required
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in industrial and oilfield settings
Read, interpret, and redline electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs;
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard
Maintain compliance with Ace Instruments' safety, health, environmental, and risk management requirements
Other duties as required
What We're Looking For
Journeyman Electrician certification required
Red Seal certification considered an asset
Minimum 5 years of oil & gas or industrial experience preferred
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills
Solid knowledge of BC Electrical Code
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
Industry safety tickets or willingness to obtain them
Experience working around high-pressure natural gas systems is considered an asset
