We are looking for a Hair Stylist to create flawless hairstyles for our customers. Your responsibilities include cutting hair, consulting customers about styles and colours and applying hair care products, like treatment oils and masks.

If you have experience cutting short and long hair and are up-to-date with styling natural kinky and curly hair trends, we'd like to meet you. You will ensure all customers leave TrichoSpa satisfied with our services and feel happy with their recent looks.

Responsibilities
Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
Consult and educate clients on their hair and scalp care
Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers' face shapes and tastes
Wash, rinse and dry clients' hair using appropriate cleansers and conditioners
Cut and trim hair
Apply a wide range of hair colouring techniques
Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns
Apply hair and scalp treatment products, as needed




Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
Manage bookings and serve walk-ins
Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed
Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate
Perform Routine Spa Functions

Requirements
Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colourist or similar role
Experience in styling natural kinky and curly hair
Hands-on experience with various colouring techniques
Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths
Creativity, proficient in the latest hairstyles and detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Valuable team-work ethics and able to build skilled relationships
Physical stamina to stand for long hours
Flexibility to work in shifts
Able to work in time constraints and pressure
Valid license from a cosmetology school
