Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable DZ Driver/Operator, willing to become a Hydrovac Operator and/or Volumetric Truck Operator, to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment. As a driver/operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating trucks which require a DZ license to operate to assist with underground utility work tasks.

Responsibilities
Operate trucks requiring a DZ licenses to operate and associated equipment for excavation tasks.
Ensure the secure operation of heavy machinery including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, graders, and water trucks.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in protected working condition.
Collaborate with team members to execute excavation projects efficiently and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.




Assist with horizontal drilling operations as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications
Valid DZ driver’s license
Experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
Strong understanding of route navigation and freight handling procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
