Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a friendly, professional manner
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, card, and digital payments
Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
Conduct product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities
Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products and ensuring shelves are stocked attractively
Provide clear communication about store policies, promotions, and product features to enhance customer understanding
Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and optimize customer satisfaction
Experience
Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Solid communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and balancing registers accurately
Customer service experience demonstrating patience, active listening, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, and retail sales processes is advantageous
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent organizational skills coupled with time management to prioritize tasks effectively
