Duties
Provide case management services to individuals and families in need
Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop appropriate service plans
Coordinate and monitor the delivery of services to ensure client needs are met
Collaborate with community resources and agencies to provide comprehensive support
Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services
Conduct crisis intervention and provide emotional support to clients in distress
Assist clients in accessing addiction counseling and other mental health services
Supervise and monitor client progress towards goals
Provide workforce development support, including job search assistance and resume building
Assist clients in navigating government programs such as Medicare, Section 8, and other social welfare programs
Skills:
Crisis management: Ability to effectively respond to and manage crisis situations
Addiction counseling: Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and ability to provide counseling support
Supervising: Experience in supervising and monitoring client progress towards goals
Social work: Understanding of social work principles and ability to apply them in practice
Child welfare:
Knowledge of child welfare systems and ability to advocate for children's rights and well-being
Workforce development: Familiarity with workforce development programs and ability to provide job search assistance
Medicare: Understanding of Medicare programs and ability to assist clients in navigating them
Mentoring: Ability to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to clients
Section 8: Knowledge of Section 8 housing program and ability to assist clients in accessing housing resources
Crisis intervention: Ability to provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations
