Overview of the Role The Representative, Deductions & Collections will be responsible for managing one or more retail accounts at the regional and national level. In addition, the representative will support and assist the Team Leader in the day-to-day operations of the department. He/she will be responsible for collections, completing claims and reconciling customer deductions within established deadlines.
Responsibilities Assist the Team Leader with all departmental deduction and collection reconciliation processes.
Provide support to the accounts receivable team as needed.
Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts receivable and perform necessary follow‑ups on customer claims, invoices, and deductions.
Document all relevant accounts receivable information accurately.
Analyze and reconcile accounts within the assigned portfolio.
Identify problematic cases and resolve or propose an action plan to the team leader.
Collaborate with sales, finance, customer service and warehouse departments to ensure proper management of accounts receivable.
Prepare various weekly/monthly reports.
Promote excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Participate in the achievement of departmental objectives and continuous improvement.
Perform all other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications College degree in finance or other relevant field, or equivalent experience.
University or bachelor degree considered an asset.
2‑4 years of experience in a similar position.
High level of accuracy, organizational skills, analytical and decision‑making abilities, self‑motivation and initiative.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Energetic with robust work ethic; results‑oriented team player.
Knowledge of credit, collection and deduction practices.
Experience with AS/400, EDI systems and customer portals is an asset.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and the Office suite.
Fluency in French and English (spoken and written); required for communicating with customers and sales teams in Quebec and across Canada.

Salary 48,505 – 63,635 $ • Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
