Position Summary
As a Residential Framer, you will be responsible for constructing wood‑frame structures according to plans and building codes. You'll work with an experienced team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities
Construct floors, walls, roofs, and other wood‑frame structures.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and engineered wood products.
Install sheathing, trusses, beams, and other structural components.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Follow all company safety policies and provincial safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members.
Qualifications
Previous framing or carpentry experience preferred (apprentices and experienced framers welcome).
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and performing repetitive tasks.
Reliable transportation to and from facility.
Robust work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance.
