In this role, you will assess driving capabilities in a client-centered setting, working with individuals at important transitional stages. Your interventions will combine physical and cognitive assessments to aid clients in achieving their driving goals, all while being part of a supportive, elite healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive driving assessments, on-road and in-clinic
• Evaluate vehicle access for mobility device users
• Formulate and recommend individualized rehabilitation goals
• Oversee client-centered driver rehabilitation programs
• Generate detailed assessment and vehicle prescription reports
Requirements:
• Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Preferred experience in community-based settings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Compassionate, professional, and self-directed
• Adept at managing diverse caseloads and adapting to technology
