Job Overview

Detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconcile accounts, and assist with financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Manage daily bookkeeping activities including recording transactions using QuickBooks
Maintain and update accounts payable and accounts receivable records to ensure timely payments and collections
Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account accuracy and identify discrepancies
Conduct account analysis to monitor financial health and support budgeting processes
Assist with payroll processing by ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with relevant regulations
Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review
Support month-end closing procedures by reconciling ledger accounts and preparing necessary documentation





Qualifications
Proven experience with QuickBooks with a minimum of 5 years of extensive expertise, preferably in the transport industry.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, receivable, and account reconciliation
Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Familiarity with bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting processes
Excellent attention to detail with solid organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Proficiency in English and French is required

Pay: $52,000.00-$59,000.00 per year
