Automotive Glass Installer / Mechanical Technician / Estimator

We are looking for a dependable and versatile Automotive Glass Installer / Mechanical Technician / Estimator to join our team.

This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities, including automotive glass installation, mechanical repairs, and estimate writing. The majority of glass work will involve windshield replacement and related repairs.

Responsibilities
Remove and install automotive glass, primarily windshields
Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance as required
Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs
Prepare accurate repair estimates
Assist with collision and glass-related estimating
Communicate repair requirements with customers, technicians, and office staff
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow proper safety procedures when performing glass and mechanical repairs
Work independently while also contributing as part of the shop team

Qualifications
Automotive glass installation experience is considered a strong asset
Previous windshield replacement experience is preferred
Mechanical repair experience is required




Experience writing automotive repair estimates is considered an asset
Experience with Mitchell Connect is considered an asset
Solid attention to detail
Positive mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities independently
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Positive communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s licence
