We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion/Caregiver to provide exceptional support and companionship to a palliative client in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
Provide companionship through engaging conversations, recreational activities, and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and welcoming workplace
Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques safely,



including heavy lifting when necessary
Monitor health status by observing changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to supervisors or family members

Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly preferred
Proven background in patient care, senior care, or hospice care demonstrating compassion and professionalism
Familiarity with cleaning routines and maintaining hygiene standards within a caregiving context
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while assisting clients with mobility challenges
Strong communication skills coupled with patience and empathy to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
