Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, L&A; Metalworks Inc. is a trusted metal fabricator serving a select group of OEMs that supply critical infrastructure to industrial clients—including oil refineries and power-generating plants. With a reputation for precision and reliability, L&A; manufactures complex, made-to-print process systems designed for gas flow diversion and pollution extraction.

This is an ideal opportunity for an up-and-coming Project Manager with an engineering background who is looking to take the next step in their career.

What you’ll be doing:
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and steel-related projects
Work closely with senior leadership and the current Project Manager to learn established processes and best practices
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitor project progress and proactively address risks or challenges




Assist with project documentation, reporting, and scheduling
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

What we are looking for:
5–10 years of experience in construction, steel, or a related industry
Engineering background considered a strong asset
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading projects in an industrial or construction setting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of responsibilities
Motivated to learn from senior leadership and grow into a long-term leadership role
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Collaborative team environment with prospects to grow and develop professionally

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
