Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our energetic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and productive kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and service operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness are upheld. Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus, but we welcome applicants eager to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks under supervision
Support kitchen staff with food prep activities such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning dishes
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards




Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with sanitation guidelines
Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables as needed during service hours

Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is desirable
Previous kitchen experience including serving or food prep roles will be considered a strong asset
Willingness to learn current skills related to food service operations and kitchen safety

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
