Duties
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Assist with food handling tasks such as sorting, organizing ingredients, and preparing basic food items under supervision
Support meal preparation by setting up workstations, organizing supplies, and assisting chefs with prep work as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping floors, wiping counters, and disposing of waste properly
Help with restocking supplies and ensuring all areas of the kitchen are organized for efficient workflow




Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a secure environment for staff and customers
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere

Experience
Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and meal preparation is a plus
Experience in food handling or working in a commercial kitchen environment is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is beneficial
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy periods
