Cryptography/Devops Engineer x 2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cryptography/Devops Engineer x 2 for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Markham, Ontario office.

Cryptography/Devops Engineer x 2 - Job Description:
The Crypto Solution Validation Team is focused on the certification, design, development, and deployment of enterprise cryptographic automation solutions. This project involves automating key management, certificate lifecycle management, and other cryptographic operations to enhance efficiency and security.

Cryptography/Devops Engineer x 2 - Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy automated solutions for cryptographic services and operations.
Develop APIs and automation frameworks for seamless integration of cryptographic services.
Evaluate and certify cryptographic products and platforms.
Develop and maintain secure, high-quality code using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
Produce comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to cryptographic standards.

Cryptography/Devops Engineer x 2 - Mandatory Skills:
8+ years of security-related technology experience.
3+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, SRE,



or related fields with a focus on automation and security.
5+ years of experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
5+ years of experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins.
Robust communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong time management and priority management skills.
Attention to detail and adaptability.

Cryptography/Devops Engineer x 2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
CISSP certification.
Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for cryptographic operations.
Robust understanding of cryptographic fundamentals, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption.
Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments.

Cryptography/Devops Engineer x 2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Markham, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days work from home, which may change to 4 days in the office.
