Licensed Automotive Technician – Barrie Volkswagen

Pay Rate
$38-41 per hour

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance services following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs.

Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex problems.

Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers.

Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.

Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

Perform road tests using safe driving standards.

Stay up to date on latest industry trends, vehicle technology, and repair techniques.

Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a fast‑paced automotive workplace and a valid 310S dealer license.

Valid G license.

Knowledge of dealership and brand‑specific systems is beneficial.





Strong technical/mechanical repair aptitude.

Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and advancements.

Good time‑management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
