Position Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for organizing structural steel and miscellaneous metals as they are delivered and transported from the DyMark Industries compound to optimize physical space and maintain safety. This work is mainly conducted using DyMark forklifts and involves moving materials onto production line rollers to keep saws running consistently, while also assisting other members of the production team to complete work according to project specifications.

Responsibilities

Organize and transport structural steel and miscellaneous metals from the plant compound.

Operate DyMark forklifts to move materials onto production line rollers,



ensuring continuous operation of equipment.

Assist production team members in completing tasks in accordance with project specifications.

Qualifications

Previous forklift operator experience required; yard foreman experience considered an asset.

Current forklift operator certification, overhead crane experience, and WHMIS certification.

Knowledge of welding symbols, blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and quality control processes.

Proficiency in metric and imperial measurements, hoisting and lifting equipment operation.

Valid driver’s license.

Safety Requirements
