Position Title: Labourer
Position Overview
ACSI is seeking experienced labourers to join our industrial team to support project requirements. A strong focus on safety and a commitment to a zero‑injury culture are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and clean up work sites.

Move materials and equipment; perform demolition, excavation, compaction activities, and remove rubble and debris.

Handle and distribute materials (load, unload supplies, equipment, tools to and from work areas).

Place, consolidate and protect cast‑in‑place concrete or masonry structures (e.g., shovel cement, mix and pour concrete; use electric and pneumatic vibrators).

Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

WHMIS 2015 certification

Fall protection/working at heights – In Class

Experience as a labourer in an industrial construction workplace

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting





Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25 kg

Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments

Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies

Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Candidates may be required to complete a pre‑employment Drug & Alcohol screen and/or criminal record check.
