Requirements

High School graduate

Experience in welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium

Mechanically inclined

Tanker experience would be an asset

Exceptional organizational skills

Strong focus on attention to detail and health and safety

Moderate computer skills

High degree of professionalism

Welding certification is an asset

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Perform skilled fabrication and maintenance welding using various methods and materials

Perform skilled tasks in all types of welding, oxy‑acetylene torch and plasma‑arc cutting, grinding, etc.

Work with a variety of materials such as steel, stainless steel and aluminum related materials.

Communicate details of work completed and data logging, verbally, in writing or by computer

Work in accordance with all safety procedures, standards and regulations

Professional and service‑oriented interactions with all customers

Attend and participate in scheduled safety and maintenance meetings

Attend and participate in work‑related training and development opportunities

Perform minor mechanical repairs

Perform other related work as assigned
