Overview of the role
Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a temporary Technician, QC for a six‑month term. This position will support the Quality team with day‑to‑day quality control activities and validation studies. This role provides hands‑on experience in quality systems, inspection processes, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with cross‑functional teams.
How you will make contributions that matter
Support inspection and testing activities in accordance with established quality procedures
Collect, organize, and analyze quality data to support reporting and improvement efforts
Help track calibration and document control processes
Help review quality records and documentation (inspection reports, SOPs, work instructions)
Assist with inspection and testing of materials, components, or finished products according to established procedures.
Facilitate quality validation studies.
Prepare QC samples and arrange shipment of samples to external and internal laboratories.
Organize and maintain laboratory materials, supplies, and work areas.
Act as the liaison between QC staff and office leadership.
Perform other tasks and other quality‑related duties as assigned.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications
Must be enrolled in a post‑secondary program (Quality,
Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related field).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of quality principles (e.g., inspection, root cause, continuous improvement) is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Schedule
Sunday‑Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.; shift may vary from 8 hrs/day to 10 hrs/day. Must be flexible.
Hourly rate
$32.69
