Overview
This is an interview position ensuring timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes. Responsibilities include reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading/unloading the vehicle, and providing exceptional customer service.
Post Secondary
High school diploma/educational equivalent.
Professional Accreditation / Certification
Valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.
Related Experience Requirements
None
One (1) year customer-oriented business experience preferred.
Time to Learn / Adjust
3 months.
Special Requirements
Bilingual in French and English (required if in Quebec).
Technical Skill Requirements
Minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
Successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is an asset.
Must be able to operate in a PC Windows workplace.
Interpersonal Skill Requirements
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a highly pressured environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Shift: Monday to Saturday 8:45 am to 5:15 pm; Flex Driver role permits shifts up to 8 hours, over 5 days, up to 40 hours per week.
Full valid Class G license. G2 unacceptable.
Additional Qualifications
Valid driver's license (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]).
Driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the last 24 months.
