Our client, located on Île d'Orléans , is seeking a Public Works Attendant to help maintain and ensure the proper operation of municipal infrastructure. This position will allow you to contribute to a wide variety of projects while working in a stimulating and friendly environment.
Responsibilities Perform maintenance and minor repairs on buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
Carry out various tasks related to municipal infrastructure, including waterworks, roadways, and wastewater systems.
Participate in snow removal operations and the maintenance of public spaces.
Perform landscaping duties and ensure the cleanliness of municipal facilities.
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of seasonal equipment.
Regularly inspect municipal facilities to identify maintenance needs.
Safely operate tools and work equipment.
Perform any other related duties associated with daily operations.

Requirements High School Diploma (DES) or equivalent education.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
Relevant experience in manual labour, maintenance, or public works.
Certifications in water treatment or occupational health and safety (an asset).

Salary Between $26 and $28 per hour , depending on experience.
Schedule Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Full-time (39 hours per week).
