If you are passionate about contributing to a multi-disciplinary team that is committed to positively impacting the lives of residents that we serve then we would love to speak to you about this great opportunity.Reporting to the Clinical Director – Transitional Care Program, the Registered Practical Nurse position is a critical role with overall accountability for the provision of optimum care services related to the needs of our residents, medication administration and documentation in accordance with legislative requirements and Company policies and procedures.As part of our team, your role as a Registered Practical Nurse contributes to our resident experiences in the following ways:Provides for nursing care in accordance with established Company policies, physician's orders, the resident plan of care and within the scope of practice of a Registered Practical Nurse.Preparing and administering prescribed, routine, medications, treatments and dressings as directed by the Physician and in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario's Medication Administration Standards.Ensures proper control measures for narcotics, reordering of medications as required and transcription of Physician's orders.Providing support to unregulated care workers through education,
