We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. We are looking for someone local or ready to move from different parts of Canada to Labrador -City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for beauty trends. The Hair

Stylist will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and engaging clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties
Provide a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to meet client preferences
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas in compliance with health regulations
Upsell hair care products and retail items to enhance client experience and salon revenue
Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business




Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative services
Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client comfort and satisfaction

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon environment
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper use of salon tools and equipment
Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and sales goals
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide qualified advice
Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry
