Duties
Food preparation for breakfast and lunch
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Handle food safety procedures in accordance with health regulations to ensure safe food handling practices
Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with cleaning duties, stock replenishment, and organizing supplies

Skills




Previous retirement home or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; eagerness to learn is highly valued
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and resident interactions
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and meal preparation techniques
Hospitality or retirement home experience can be advantageous for understanding resident service expectations
