Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hospital or pharmacy technician experience who are passionate about patient care and medical terminology.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under supervision
Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of medications
Process medication orders, verify prescriptions, and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulations
Support medication administration procedures and documentations as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment by adhering to health and safety standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient service and medication management
Qualifications
Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and customer service
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining accuracy
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
