Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various grilled dishes while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen workspace.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items on the grill, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper cooking and food safety compliance.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or needed supplies.




Participate in training recent kitchen staff on grilling techniques and food safety practices.

Experience
Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, particularly grilling, is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
