Become a vital support for livestock courses at the University of the Fraser Valley. This role involves assisting instructors and maintaining essential barn facilities during the Fall 2026 semester. As a relief technician within the Agriculture department, you will play a supportive role in delivering learning outcomes for livestock courses.
Your responsibilities will include preparing materials, maintaining barn systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Successful candidates will need to communicate effectively and create an inclusive learning setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist instructors with course delivery and materials preparation
- Maintain barn facilities and environmental systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies
- Set up and manage lab equipment for experiments
- Attend department meetings and contribute feedback Requirements:
- Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent experience
- Three years in commercial agriculture or education
- Valid BC Driver's License required
- Experience operating heavy agricultural equipment
