Position Overview The Personal Support Worker (PSW) is responsible for providing care to residents according to their care plans and assisting in identifying resident needs. The PSW helps maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

What You Will Do Assist in monitoring care given to residents, ensuring it aligns with the established plan of care by observing residents and reporting findings to the immediate supervisor.
Assist in documenting information related to residents’ care as directed.
Attend in‑service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
Assist in onboarding new staff as directed.
Follow IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.
What You Bring Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents.
Understanding of basic sanitation and cleaning techniques, and awareness of the needs of geriatric residents.

Additional Information Salary: $27.50 per hour (placement based on qualifications and experience).
