Suncrest College invites applications for a Communications Instructor to teach Interpersonal Communications (COMM 291) and Helping Skills (COMM 197) in the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program. The role is a part‑time, 67‑hour contract from September 15, 2026 to November 20, 2026, based in Melfort, SK.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and deliver both practical and theoretical instruction for Interpersonal Communications and Helping Skills courses.

Assess and evaluate student performance, and provide required reports.

Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to establish the final teaching schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, B.Ed. (English or Communications major), or an equivalent combination of education that includes a degree and a completed thesis or research‑writing project.

Minimum of two years of recent or relevant business/industry experience or post‑secondary teaching experience.

Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and obtain necessary approval.

Demonstrated experience working in a cross‑cultural workplace.
